Hi all,

It's hard but I have to do it :( My Inca snail loves to nibble on my crypto plants and I don't want to keep him in a breeder net to save my plants, as it doesn't make sense to confine him to a small area instead of enjoying him going 100 mph, so I'm selling him. I got him from Petco about 6 months ago and he has been very active since then. He was listed as an "Inca Snail" which I think is part of the Apple Snail family (at least that is what I found online). He has grown much larger since I got him, and is currently in college! :hey: So here is the completed sale form:

Livestock: Inca Snail
Age and condition: got 6 months ago from Petco (I guess their stock is composed of young snails only)
Quantity for sale: 1
Reason for Sale: nibbles on cryptos!
Delivery or Collection: LOCAL PICK UP (I don't want him to die inside a package on his way to your tank, unless you know of a way of shipping that does not harm him)
Sales price: Make a decent offer please
Postage & Packaging: LOCAL PICK UP (I don't want him to die inside a package on his way to your tank)
Location: Ladera Ranch, CA 92694 USA
Photograph: Check the photos of my tank and my snail here to get a feel for size and condition: http://www.flickr.com/photos/notg2009/

Please note that I'm NOT getting rid of him; I just want to add more plants and don't want to limit his environment size by holding him in a breeders net, so please take a look here and see if your tank would be a good home for him http://www.fishlore.com/profile-incasnail.htm. I am planning on buying 1-2 snail(s) that would not nibble on my cryptos, so that is where the sale money goes.

Thanks. :)

He's a big one. What's that long bit coming outta him? I've never seen that before, it looks scary lol. I'm sure someone will want that beauty

Just read it's the siphon! God I hope I don't seen mine it's creepy lol.

Well it looks like an air tube. He touched the surface with it and guess what is on the other side of that surface...air :)))) it should be a snorkel of some sort.

Yeah it's for air never knew they had that! He's a very well kept beautiful snail I'm sure someone will be along to take him.

UPDATE: I will list on eBay, Craigslist, etc. and will ask moderators to delete this post when sold, but for the time being, please let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
