Just thought Id post a picture of my belovid pet that past away just before christmas , She was a happy and friendly and also very very healthy dog. The vet said she was one of the healthiest labs he has seen, then she started to slow down a bit and we thought it was due to growing older, but we had her x-rayed to put our mind at rest then they found a cancer next to her heart. She was doing good for 3 months, but then one night she stopped walking as it effect her spine, and we didnt want to make her go through anymore pain so we put her down (hardest decision ever).....

Well anyway thought id put some pictures up of my favourite pet in the whole world

Cancer is not uncommon in Labradors, many years ago one of our old labs had cancer which eventually killed her.

Sorry about your beautiful lab, hardest decision to make but we all know it is for the best so they dont suffer. My sister in law lost her choc. lab about last November time so they are probably romping together just over the Rainbow Bridge.
