Back to the first plant. Looks like a juvinale Cordyline australis aureo straita. Other things that it could have been is a juvinile phormium tenax but its unlikely as they have wider foilage. Or even more likely... and i think it is actually this... Carex evergold.. Might be another type of carex evergold, but i think it is that..
Oh looking after them... All prefer well drained soil and partial shade to full sun. Cover up phormium in harshest winter. prices range from £5.95 to £125 where i work lol... How sad am I!
Donkey.... Been there & done that. A daffodil will not survive in a tank. It is my absolute favorite flower. I had to try it... The bulb rots instead of sprouting.
Green onions on the other hand... they sprouted!
