I went to the pet store to buy some more MoneyWort.(I think it is such a pretty plant and so far my lil hoglike fishes are leaving it alone..) Well, when I got in there they had this beautiful, grass looking plant next to the Money Wort. I fell in love with it and decided I must have it.. Next thing I knew I bought 3 plants of it! I don't even know what it is! I am so upset with myself for impulse buying like that with absolutely no info on the plant! All I know is it requires a good amount of light (which I have)
I planted it on Thursday and so far I think it looks good. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what this is so I can look up some info on it to make sure I am caring for it correctly. Also, I like it so much I would love to get more but want to make sure it will grow OK in my tank b4 I buy anymore..

So far, my goldies are leaving it alone.

Thanx for your help..

It would like a nice big pot, on your window sill, with plenty of soil.

Sorry, but it looks non-aquatic to me!

No! Really???!! You have to be kidding! How can they sell that stuff and say it is aquatic plants!?

Drat! Glad I asked b4 I bought more!

How will I know? Will it start to die in a few weeks or so? Do you think I should remove it now? Maybe I should plant in my garden?
Darn! No wonder the "help" at the store didn't know much about it!

Yeah, it'll die soon.

I dunno how well it'll do in your garden, it's probably a house plant

Never buy plants with white edges on them. It will die in a few weeks.

Thanx guys for the info.. I will get a pot and replant it.. Darn I am really upset about this. It is so pretty and I really liked it.

Whooo hooo!!! Just got back from the fish store! Got some Vallisneria! :good: Just took that other plant out of my tank and replanted it.. ( am done attempting to buy stuff from the pet store! ;0) )

Can't wait to see my Vallis grow... Hoping to use it as a pretty background for my tank..

that plant to me looks like

Bacopa Monnieri

If i'm correct I might add i have had it growing in my tank for over a year now
It can grow out the top of the tank so essentialy keep it in there untill it develops submerged growth

EDIT: ahhh not the foreground haha the one with long thin spikey bits...
It's a form of Spider plant I think
