I did get defensive..
Successfully kept and bred these guys years ago , IME never had a problem impaction but maybe I was just lucky.
They are a fun and straight forward gecko to keep and would recomend them to anyone.....

Yeah once they are adult the seem to learn to not eat so much, and the risk is not as high but is still there, for a newbie who is likely to get a hatchling who are at the top of the impaction list I would suggest kitchen towel. They are super fun pets though, all have their own personailties and are bloody fast lol.
