So, those who have fish know that when they are stressed, sick, ill, in bad conditions, their colors fade. I was looking at pics of Onion, my betta girl that I took out of the icky conditions awhile back, on the very first day I got her. Then I was looking at photo's I took tonight, and I was just amazed as how beautiful she has gotten. A far cry from that first day!

Here was Onion on her first day here, no flash was used:

Are you sure it's a female? Just asking b/c I don't see an ovi spot? *shrugs*

Anywho.... the improvement is tremendous. So glad she got in to the hands of someone that will give her the care she deserves :)

She's female you cant always see the ovi and she looks young to me so that may be a reason
 
wow i cant believe the difference! she looks radient!
 
She is stunning.......such a gorgeous little girl :wub: and she's changed so much since you've had her.....much deeper colouring now :good:
