What fish you planning on putting in there Grimster?

Whats the full dimensions of tank?

Whats your budget?

2 blue paradise gorumies ,3 tigerbarbs ,2 angels, pleco, 4 tetras ,1 kissing gorumi

i like real plants but you can get some real nice looking fake's

in my tank i have a combanation of both

alright any perfeered kind of plant

yea, stay with low light plants, hornwort, duckweed, java moss, ect.

for filter, fluval 305.

thats probably the best filter you can put on that tank, you will have angels and a pleco so that will be alot of Bio wast, so you will need a big filter.

depends on what you like the look of, but amazon sword is a nice plant, hardy and an easy solitary plant for beginners and experts.

do they make under gravel filters for bowfronts is lily plants alrighti think thats wat i think it is there redish color

ok could i use both that fuval and a spodge filter

i agree with java moss but i've heard hornwort needs quite a rich nutrient substrate plus they prefer cool water, not entirely sure but thats what i heard

I think you will find that you will need to put more than 3 tiger barbs they need to be in groups of 6 or more, 2 of them will usually pick on the weakest/smallest one and sometimes kill it (if in a group of three)

also in small groups the barbs will harass other fish in your tank they are terrors for fin nipping and if kept in larger groups they will confine their bickering among themselves and leave other fish alone.

this is not always the case sometimes you will get fish that defy their behavioural patterns but Barbs are semi-aggressive and in most cases if are not kept in a group of 6 or more you will have problems.

Also Barbs defantly should not be kept with slow moving or long finned tank mates and Brabs have been known to attack an even kill angels (Barbs are small but they can be very nasty) I would also be worried about your Kissing Goruami in with the babrs your more agressive Gourami (Trichogaster trichopterus) Three Spot Gourami, Blue Gourami, Opaline Gourami, Gold Gourami would be better suited tank mates with the Barbs.

Anyway like I said before sometimes you get a fluke and community tanks which would not work in theory do work but I would keep a very close eye on you angles and Brabs.
