I'm Going Away!

Haha!! Very true! Ok HG I'm pretty scared!! Lol.

Which airport you flying to? We went to a place called Plovdiv, boy what a great experience I have a shed in my garden with better amenitys (but my shed doesn't have an old lady selling horsehair socks and milka bars).
There was one big room when the corrugated iron door was slid to the left it was the arrivals lounge, when the door was slid to the right, (and the man with the scales on the trolley was there), it was the departure lounge.

The locals are really friendly and respond superbly if you know just enough Bulgarian to be polite, the strip joints are actually quite friendly even if the big Russian mafia guys don't look it, and the drinks were cheap even in there. (I only went once and yes my wife knows), most Hotels are clean and staff are well turned out and genuinely helpful. Taxi drivers can be pushy just be rude at the outset and get it over and done with (we were once followed for 2 miles by a taxi right to the door of our hotel where he then got annoyed as we hadn't got in, we told him his fortune and he was given a brief description of how life could be for him in the next few minutes if he didn't stop threatening us). Generally a great place mate you will have a fab time, Bulgarian holiday key words "Red wine" "vodka" "happy hour" "Russian girls" "late night kebabs" "sleep until 12".

Just got back - i missed your reply before i went. I flew to Bourgas, stayed in Sunny Beach. Very very good lads holiday! Def vodka! Happy Hour, Russian gils and late night kababs but we were up at 9 every morning to get the sun!! ;) Very painful after getting in at 5am, drunk as a skunk! :p

The taxi drivers are awful out there!! £20 to drive us literally 1 min down the road. Excuse my language but what a @8&£*!

I'm pretty sure Hostel was filmed in Bratislava Slovakia.

I know this because the gf is Slovakian and it angers her the film portrays it as a dump lol.

I'm sure Bulgaria will be fine :)

I might have been misinformed then! :) Could have done with hearing that before i went!! ;) I was only joking though!! :good:

Thanks Dayz!! I got my first fish AGAIN! lol! Two clowns!! AGAIN! lol.

nowt wrong with that lewis, i'm still at the rock storing stage at the moment no plans for adding much to the tank until after my holiday :hyper: well maybe some sand and cuc, shall have to see, i am trying so hard to remain patient but its beginning to get to me  and i'm also starting to think about upgrading my lighting.
btw any pics of russian pole dancers by any chance

Welcome back mate - Did you find anywhere that did those massive kebabs.

Massive round pitta/totilla spread in garlic and chilli sauce, with chicken and lamb salad and a portion of chips all stuffed in. We had a hut where I went that did these and they were about a quid each and took about half an hour to eat.
