I'm amazed, I've probably just experienced the best customer service ever from any company lol.
My Tetratec EX1200 is playing up, it's lost power so the flow rate is reduced which is causing issues in my tank, so far resulting in 1 death.
Anyhow, I just got off the telephone to the Tetra service centre and they are sending me a replacement filter, which is going to take about a week to come. I'm not to bothered about the time frame as I've started up an old filter I had spare to compensate for the loss of power.
What I'm amazed about, is I gave the person on the phone my details, filter make, and brief description of the problem, and another filter is being sent out, she asked for no proof of purchase, or serial number from the filter. I'm amazed. The best customer service ever. I was imagining having to send parts of the filter, and waiting ages.
So, a big thumbs up for Tetra, if something goes wrong, they will sort it out no quibbles.
