I didn't think it would happen. First of all, I had a f Black Molly, which my f molly kept biting on her so I put her in quarateen, don't know if I spelled it right, couldn't find the spell checker, anyway, I noticed a lot of bites on her and I thought she may make it but she was nose diving then she came belly up and not moving. In the mean time I went to Petco and bought two f black Mollies and evidently one was preggie because I started to see little fries hiding in the rocks a 1/2 hour later. I caught them and put them in the breeder net with some gravel so they can still hide. I counted 17 of them plus 1 dead. I am so thrilled. I had some Guppies but they died off one at a time. Maybe I will get a different, small tank just for Guppies for I like them. Just wanted to share this with all of you. :hyper:

I once had a fish give birth in the bag on the way home! LOL it was so neat, i pulled it for the plastic shopping bag and bam there were about 25 babies as well, Bonus!! Congrates to you! Grammy!!

Yeah, I was so surprised. I had boughten Guppies with a baby before but not a mother give birth after I get her home. I don't know what I am going to do with them yet because I have a 20 gal tank with 3 paties, 6 Neons, 3 Mollies, and now 17 fries. Maybe I can sell them or trade them for credit to the pet store where I got them. I don't know if they do it so I will have to talk to the manager. But it feels good. I had tried so hard for my Guppies to have little ones but no luck. About 12 years ago I had the tank set up and I was always having babies from my Guppies. I am having problems with the PH since there is Ph coming out of the tap and gallons of bottle water would cost too much. So now that I don't have the Guppies I won't have to worry about the PH that much and I also bought some Aqua salt. Just wanted to share my thrill with someone else since I am stuck at home all the time from disability with my back and now mending from a broken pelvis in two places. I don't have any friends since I worked all the time and living in Seattle, WA, it is hard to make friends if they don't want any. Thanks for listening and have a great week.

Your welcome! Hope you enjoy raising the little guys and find them lovely homes. Sad to hear about the pelvis thing, ouch!
