My pregnant sunburst platy gave birth sometime last night in my community tank, When I saw how skinny she had gotten I looked for the fry but couldn't find any so I assumed they had all become fishy breakfast. About 2 hours ago I cleaned out the tank, and to my surprise I discovered 13 fry hiding among the gravel at the bottom of the tank . I've lost 3 fry so far but I have 6 really active ones. The rest will probably become betta food. But I will def. Keep some. I need a male platy so hopefully one of them is a baby boy, and I'm giving a couple to my roommate. I'll post a couple pics!

they're doing fine. they enjoy being fish fry. stay in one spot and zip like lightning around the tank when they feel like it lol.
