Well, it finally happened, one of my guppy ladies has given birth some 8weeks after our last batch.

Sat down eating meal last night and my partner pipes up "what was that tetra just chasing, I swear something tiny has just hidden in the little cave". So obviously a hunting we went and to our delight found 6 babies last night. Found 5 more this morning. All safely rescued and into our fry trap. Did spot a couple more, but alas had no time to rescue.

Funny thing is we have no idea which adult is the mum. They are quite dark compared to last time, so the guess would be one the blues or big mama blackie herself!!!

Anyway rather luckily we are off to pick up a small 28l tank tongiht and some Molly fry.

Can these two fry co-exist? In such a small tank what do I need to be doing with regards to filtration and heating?

Thanks guys, you input is most welcome.

don't see the fry can't co-exist together, they require the same heating and filtration as normal fish (or alot of water changes) :0

congrats on the fry, both lots should be fine together aslong as the mollies aren't so big that they'll eat them :good:

Well we managed to rescue 15 fry and have them all safe and sound in a 34l fry tank we've just had donated to us by loach

Alas, 1 poor mite didn't make it, so now down to 14. :(
