the scales are fine ive added some pics but the tetra pic is poor i will try to get a better one.if they are constipated what do you recomend?

Wilder can you recomend a good all in test kit?

Depends on your location but i use tetra, and sometimes nutrafin liquid one, strip ones are no good they are not that accurate.

i use tetra but i wondered if you can get a pack with every type of test in it

ok thats what i was looking for i think it would be a good purchase.

i see in other ich posts, ive been treating wrong, i didnt realise you had to do a water change every day with the med's oh my fish never stood a chance

would it be wise to carry on the the med's for the cycle since my platy has gone?
 
Depends on the med, but usually you only do a water change before you redose with a gravel vac to remove the parasite out of the substrate.
 
Carry on dosing till the whitespot has cleared then some people keep medicating up to a week after just to make sure it has gone.

its protazin half dose because of my loachs and pleco and i believe the neon tetras dont like protazin?
 
Yes the are funny with meds them type of fish might take longer at the half dose that's all.
