well i think im going to buy a rio 125 sometime soon and i was wondeing what i should stock it with. my water has a PH of 7.7 and a hardness of around 15. Any ideas?

Community/planted tank. Lighting can be easily upgraded (search the forum).
So fish like, Cardinal tetras, platies, swordtails, corydoras, loaches, barbs.
pH and the hardness isnt really an issue except if you want to breed something or you want a sensetive fish ie. chocolate gourami, Blue Ram, Discus.

what sort of thing are you after? lots of colour and movement, a 'wet pet', graceful stately fish, heavily planted, fish from a specific area ??

give us soemthing to go on, there's so many options!

lots of movement and colour i think, it would be planted, but not so thick that the fish get stuck :)

6 Neon Rainbowfish, 10 Cardinal tetras, 4 Yoyo loaches. Maybe some Endlers.

6 albino/broze corys(or whatever corys took my fancy at the lfs), 6 white cloud mountain minnows(they are actually very fun/colourful fish), 6 cherry barbs and six black neons/neons/cardinals. Then i'd get around 6 amano shrimp, which i have been really interested recently :) .

If you are going to get guppies, id recommend just female ones. Females seem to be much more hardy in my experience although unless you want babys, try to get one that doesnt look pregnant.
