I dont know if choosing marine is allowed, but ive always dreamt of having a pair of clown fish with an anemone, but marine is just too big a leap for me . id probably kill them by putting the wrong amount of salt in or something . maybe in future i might have a marine nano with 2 clownfish and a cleaner shrimp with lots of corals

Marine are not as hard to keep as you think!!

Let's see. Fish that must be kept away from other fish due to their nature. How about the many tanks I have of various species of goodeids? Each species has its own tank for two reasons. They should not be mixed with each other because some of them can cross breed, as seldom as it really does happen. Most of them are also not very good with other fish because they tend to play too rough for a typical community tank. Each tank is not especially large, many are in the range of 20 to 55 gallons, but it does mean having tanks dedicated to each individual species that I choose to keep. I find these fish worthwhile keeping for several reasons, one of which is that the largest majority of goodeid species are endangered or threatened species in the wild and a place in my tanks is one way that they can be perpetuated. Some of them are also quite nice to look at but again are not good members of tropical communities.

nah the fish are ime as easy to keep as tropicals (except some like copperbands and stuff)

the corals can be harde but most soft are farely easy
