they are not hybrids, they are pure yellow labs just a variation that is not so common, they are pure yellow labs as you can get white labs etc. look in lex aqualog there are many varieties of yellow lab.

That yellow guy is a yellow lab. Recently as of 2 weeks ago Petsmart here in fayetteville Georgia claims that they are a new Zebra and they sell them as YELLOW ZEBRAS? They are yellow labs they dont have any features of a zebra so go figure thats petsmart for you!

My Petsmart is carrying them now as well, they are not yellow labs, but a cross between yellow labs and m. estherae. It really irritates me that they are popularizing hybrids, and misleading the public by giving them a different name. Same thing as Puggles and Cockapoos if you ask me.

Well i cant see any m. estherae in that fish it looks to be a yellow lab to me just with no black .

If it is a pure yellow lab it would seem strange that if they are quite rare that so many are popping up all over the country as tank bred fish if they were wild caught then maybe but as yet i have seen no w/c pure yellow labs.
