So who's using IE7 yet ? :)
I like it a lot :good:

I also think this website "www.ie7.com" is very crafty - but never in a million years ;)

well dont know about you but i think Firefox is by far the best browser out there. bin usin it in its different forms for over 4 years now, and its still faster and better specified than IE

Thanks guys - been there done that. I have (given FF a try) and I'm really not interested. I guess it's a bit like Nokia against anything else. Once a Nokia user, always a Nokia user. I'm open minded and will always try something else (as I did with Samsung and Sony Ericsson).
And as I did with FF and Opera, I'll (probably) always remain a Internet Explorer user :good:

IE7 is actually a lot better than previous versions, and almost on par with Firefox now. The typical reasons people don't use IE7 are security and it not following standards, and they seem to have fixed at least one of those (security), and given it tabs and what not. IE7 for Vista will be the most secure version though...

pity that MS stopped releasing new versions for the Mac.
come to think of it, i am quite happy because it's crap anyway.

Ya, I was gonna say, with al the great browsers for the Mac (Safari, Firefox, Camino, Omniweb, etc...), why complain about no IE? :)

IE couldn't be much worse.

And as to fixing security, it took an entire 24 hours before a security leak was found in IE7. This really bodes well for Vista...

I was using IE7, and liked it. Untill it just started shutting down randomly.
Which really p****d me off, as I would spend ages typing a message for example, press the submit button and it would just disapear (IE7 that is).

Or spend ages uploading images to Imageshack, press a button on the browser, and the same would happen.

So I thought I'd give FF a try, and so far, I haven't been disapointed.
It's nice, very nice. And seems as quick, if not quicker than IE.

And they also included the tabs, which sold it for me
:good:

Well there are some pieces of software that have not yet been updated by their vendor to cope with the change to IE7. There are quite a few programs we use at work that will simply not function when IE7 is installed, particularly CAD programs and viewers. Having said that 80% of the company uses firefox anyway, we just had so many issues with IE causing slowdown and crashes etc.

I like the idea of extensions and plugins that allow you to customise firefox. Much more user friendly than ie.

I use firefox, the only thing it is lacking is direct FTP browsing, like IE has.

FIREFOX rules! though!

I've had so many problems with IE in the past, it even got so messed up is stopped my computer from starting up, stupid Outlook Express!

I use Thunderbird as well :D
