the size from head to tail is about an inch long.

or

Paratya compressa
or
does it looks more like the Indian Zebra Shrimp

hi
with the new information about the claws and your geographical location
I would say that it is a Macrobrachium luzifugem Sri Lanka Long arm Shrimp

in this link you posted http://www.aquatic-store.com/en-us/dept_307.html
it is near the bottom of the page, called Macrobrachium sp.
you can also find it on shrimpsandcrayfish.co.uk

unfortunalty you can't go by colour.
most shrimp have the ability to blend in
with their backgrounds, making harder for predators to find them.

whatever it is, they will catch any fish that gets too close
and will eat them alive, starting with fins and eyes.
they are not suited to most community set ups for this reason.
