Hi!
In my 20 gallon hex tall tank, my female Mickey Mouse platy (housed with a rainbow male) had a somewhat large batch of fry.
I do not know if the fry are from her being with another male from the store (she was in a tank with other rainbow platys but I’m 99% sure she is Mickey Mouse) or if it’s from the male in the tank.
Of the fry I can see, they are the same grayish body color as guppy fry, but the platy fry have little stripes by their heads and slight hints of blue around the edges.
I was wondering if it is possible to tell the type of platy while they are still just fry. (Like how/if you tell what they are a mix of, obviously a Mickey Mouse but what else?)
I will attach some pictures of the fry, the female, and the male.
Thanks!
