identification of my new loach

hi i bought two loachs today from my lfs. They gave me a name and enough details about it to let me know it was compatiable with what i already have in my tank. By the time I got home i had forgotten the name ofthe loachs and so looked online to find it. It looks like Angelicus Botia loach but I know that this was not the name I was given. Can antone identify them or are they Angelicus Botia?

If it is what you say, it must be a polka-dot loach. Does that sound familiar?

yeah that sounds familier we are tryin to get a pic but they are so fast !!!! and like to hide in the plants at the back lol will put them on asap thanks so far

thats a chinese sucking loach a member of the garra family there increasingly agressive towards other fish as they grow sucking on the sides of other fish, i had 2 and took them back when they got to about 4''
