Ok people give me some ideas. My son has lost interest, as most 8 year olds will, in his 12g eclipse tank. I took all fish except for 6 neons back to the lfs. Im not interested in putting livebearers in. Was thinking maybe some killies IF I can get a hold of em. If not killies maybe a pair of dwarf flame gouramies? Will this work? If not then any suggestions will be considered.

Second that SMB I absolutely love my new puffers, going to get another couple this week for the tank. 30 gal should be able to hold 4 Colomesus, 2 dwarfs and 4 ottos shouldn't it???

Go ahead and get the gouramis; they are beautiful fish and they will not cause any problem for your neons.

And what tank would be complete without a few corys? If you go with the small gouramis, you will probably have room for some of them too.
