Hi all just wondering about your opinions on this fish , sold to me as L173 4cm baby (1st picture) but now 18 months later looks like it does in picture 2

I've had answers of at least 7 different L numbers and none of them are what they are supposed to be or what they were sold to me as.

It's a bit of a long story , I'll explain tomorrow but basically they were sold to me as L173.s (I have 4) and at least 2 people have mentioned L333 or even worse a mutant cross hybrid of 2 different fish

Anyway they look nothing like the l173's I've just got from another source or any other L173 on the internet I've seen pictures of

It makes me think L333, honestly.

Looks like a false zebra as opposed to king tiger. King tigers seem to have "tighter" stripes along the body and dorsal fin, whereas false zebras have more spaced out stripes - particularly on the dorsal fin - like yours. The stripes appear brighter than those on a false zebra (L129), but overall has strong similarities to the L129 concerning the markings. Again, the stripes on L333 are tight and compact whereas the L129's are more spaced out.

Like I said sold to me as L173 , I have some other l173 they look like this , these are looking
like they are a different species altogether.

I know there are at least 2 lines that look slightly different but not like this.
