Id this fish

Bought it in a tank labeled mixed south american...2.00$ each.
It's approx 2inches SL.

Body looks kind of like a young Texas , not the head , Texs' are centrals , so I guess I don't have a clue , His eyes look purple , cool .

nice fish, great price, the color doesnt seem rite for a texas or blue acara, im not very helpfull at id'ing fish

Supposedly it is a mutt...it's tank mates all looked more like JD and they SUPPOSEDLY were all from the same batch...who knows tho...

The eyes really have the purple cast to them,tho in the pics it's much more pronounced.

It's a very inquisitive fish,not shy at all like a JD usually is...

His eyes really are purplish , good for you , you have something a little unique there
