I'm probably wrong but my best guess is female bristlenose pleco.... How big is it?

No bigger than 2" at the moment...Looks lose to a Female Bristlenose...so hard to tell!

If it's no bigger than 2" atm then it may be a young male bristle nose... Could be either.

I am almost certain that the pleco is a Bristlenose Pleco. It is too small to sex so there is no point speculating the gender.

at 2" the males do start growing their bristles and females at 3" will start to grow a few or none at all if wild

As many have mentioned yes it's a common bristlenose .... unfortunately it really is still a little young to correctly guess sex but nice looking fish either way
