Id On Fish

this fish just appeared in my tank!! i have no clue how!!

i am guessing the water from the hose carried an egg mabey?? idk!

but this fish is awesome!!

i have no hints to what it can be!! it moves like a cichlid tho but its mouth is upturned and strange.

Kind of hard to tell since it is so small in the photo but it looks as though it could be either a siamese algae eater or one of the look alikes or possibly a chinese algae eater although their strip isn't generally as dark. I think there are some cichlids that also have similar stripe but don't know much about them.

the tail is rounded it also has a black spot at the end of the stripe next to the tail, the mouth isnt like an algea eater, it is like an endler

it would help if you add links to what you think it is too

i was thinking the algea eater and pencil fish too at first but there is no red spots on the fins like on the pencil fish and algea eaters eat algea it eats everything

the moyth looks like it but is upturned but the fins are all rounded, from what i see it dosent look like it has ventrals?

not the body shape, but you see some that have the distinctive stripe. My LFS had some younguns in and they looked similar
