Id My Starfish Plz

can anyone id this starfish ? it looks like a brittle starfish... but same colors/pattern as a sand sifting starfish.. so im not sure if its just a baby sand sifter or a brittle lol. thanks.

if it came in on live rick id say its a lil bristle no a sand sifter...

cheers mate, yeah it did come on the live rock, is a shame cus them brittle ones are damn ugly lol i plan to get a few diffrent color starfish... not brittle or sand sifters. but never seen any for sale wich are babies so was hoping this one wasnt a brittle lol. a sand sifter i can deal with.. but brittle have to be the ugliest of them all

really think about it before buying a star fish as a lot of people do and they often starve to death, especially sand sifters etc, how big is your tank and how old and what stock do you have?

do you farm copepods?

120 litre tank and not stocked yet. il get a type that is easy to keep, il prob only get 2 or 3 fish and eventually some coral and 1 or 2 starfish, probally have to buy some plants for them to eat or something il ask at whatever fish shop i buy it from
