I'd Like 6 Male Guppies - Advice?

By chasing what do you mean? as if they are chasing them 'away' or actually as i said in my previous post trying to do the business, mine does look like hes 'chasing him' but then ill see his man stick go in for the kill so i know its nothing aggressive.

Also bout the fins easily done if they get it caught on any decor or caught badly by the filter flow

I started with the 2 fancy tails, then I added the flame with a very small tail. I was panicking because the 2 fancy tails chased the flame around trying to mate with him - I think they thought he was a female because of his tail lol I panicked cos I thought I'd been given a female too lol

The tail shreds will happen from time to time. Just keep your eye on the aggression levels and obviously keep your eye on the healing. My dwarf gourami is now in my works tank after I saw him chase one of my fancy tails and actually rip its tail from tip to base. It healed up nicely though. Every now and again I see little nicks in their tails, but I never notice any major aggression.

What colours did you get? Can you post some pics? I'll try and get pics of mine

The orange ones looked red in the LFS when I bought them, but they're orange in my tank, I guess it's my lighting. I'm planning on getting a new tank early next year, and when I do I'll look into the lighting issue.

heehee you have a leonard too (the lemon one top left ) they're gorgeous! and I'm amazed you got a pic of them like that hehe. I really need to work on my photography skills
