That is IMO a hybrid, its a shame these are appearing on the market as the syno's are a great family and dont need to be hybridised.

Looks like a decorus and multipunctatus hybrid. Such a shame, since both are beautiful fish and don't need to be mixed!

I see what you mean but I'm not convinced. The feature that point to s. decorus is the big boy and fin markings, but there are a lot of synos with those. and they arent very S. decorus looking to me.

With hybrids you can't tell. Accomodate on the bigger rather than smaller side though.

I thought that was a photo shop job there for a minute. never seen that fish before.

it does look like someone has stuck a different head to its body lol, but honest that is how it really looks, it is silver too but the photo makes it look brown/beige colour.
