ick won't leave my plec

Need some clarifications on the dosage. My LFS guy told me to put the full dosage the first time I treat the tank, then the next day, half of that dosage everyday for 4 days. Contradicting the label of the med, saying treat 1 drop / gallon for 5 days.

Any ideas on this???

Go with the label on the medication, each medication is different.

Hey, on Maracide. No ick in my tank now, but I have Clown Loaches. Is Maracide ok for them? Should one use half dose or full dose?

Follow the dirsctions and you should be fine. I have used it with MANY species of fish and have never run ionto any problems. I don't think it will hurt the loaches at all.
