Ick treatment bad for cory?

As many know I'm old school. Raising the temperature for Ich treatment has been recommended since I had my first tank in the late 1960's or early 1970's.

Also I keep my normal tank temperature at 81F. Won't stop Ich but WILL make it harder for it to infect fish.
That last assumption isn't correct.
Higher temps upto 86F fasten the lifecycle of Ich and in fact make it easier for the parasite to infect fish (they multiply faster).
This is exact the reason why some meds require such a raise (cause they'll be earlier in a treatable stage of their life)

Ok... It has cleared up on this guy and no signs on any other fish.. Thanks for the advice... I did do the full treatment with the meds and raised the tem .. I took it up to 85 for a night, and I could see some of the tetras acting a bit odd. So I backed it down to 82...
As far as the little cory being in there alone. He's a bit of a runt and was being out competed for food in the main tank... I moved him in there so he can fatten up... Even though I wasn't asking about that I guess I appreciate the input.
Thanks,
B.
