Melafix is a natural remedy and it works cos ive used it!

I've heard that Melafix can kill fish

if you over do it, bettas need half a dose compared to other fish. I have used it with decent results. I think it helps guppies more than bettas though.

I hope your fish gets better if you know for sure he's got ich...

I thought mine had ich and anyway, it was only one spot. All I did was turn the temp up to 80F and then gave 50% water changes and everything turned out fine... I'm still not sure if it was ich though, but the spot is gone and the swordtail is as healthy as a horse... (he's the one in my avatar.)

well hes all better now cept for his weird lil gill cover... i think it might be infected and swollen
