I would say it looked more like ICH (WHITESPOT)

Does the spots increase over the body over a short space of time?
Any1 else in the tank suffer the same? or is it the 1 angel?
Does it look like the fish has been sprinkled with salt or sugar?
Is the angel hanging at the top of the tank, breathing fast?
Any of its fins clamped together?

Wots your ammonia and nitrite levels like? as the tank is only 4 and a half weeks old sounds like it is still cycling.

Very nice angel tho!!!

Hope i can help in some way.

no..the spots have stayed the same for a while..alhiugh at ne point there were none on the right fin and for a few weeks there have been some which kind of look like salt

On the left fin there is just one bigger spot in the middle which has been there for weeks

the ones you can see have been there almost since we got it

its just the angel..others had ich but it went ages ago with treatment

it just looks like the picture..when the clown loaches had ich their spots looked like salt but i think these look a bit different ,like they are clumped together

Also they have not moved or fallen off in 4 weeks

cycling is almost complete..there is a very minimal reading of nitrate..its not even 0.1

nitrates are very minimal too because i have plants and ammonia is 0

The angel doesn't hang at the top gasping for air or clamp its fins together

It basically just swims around looking for food..

I love this angel..its so beautiful.. :D if it dies I will be really gutted.. :(

I dont know what to do...... :dunno:

I went to the LFS for this and they gave me MYXAZIN which is for bacterial infections as they didnt know what it is

They said to try this

Do you think its a good idea?
