well i was looking in my tank yesterday and i saw my male sword had ich.....i started to treat them with some medication and i was wondering when the ich should dissapear??

The spots will gowithona few days, depending on how bad the outbreak is. You should put the temp up to 82F to speed up the life-cycle of the parasite and treat for at least 14 days.

It is good to add some aquarium salt to aid the medication if you do not have any catfishes or loaches.
