Fish Fanatic
A lot of people get ICH or White Spot in there fish tanks. Ich is particularly hard to remove because it has a habit of coming back, I found a treatment off a website, this is the soloution they gave:
"Simply ring your tank in black plastic, or heavy blanket, absolutely no light must enter the tank for 24-48 hours ( I recommend 36-48 ) that the Ich simply dies off. Like I stated, I have yet tried this method, but on my next outbreak I will certainly give it a shot."
"After 48 hours remove the covering, resume feeding as normal, wait 5 days then repeat the above step again. By the end of this second treatment you are all done"
"During the 24-48 hours that the tank is covered, ensure that the tank lights are off and absolutely NO peeking, or feeding of the tank, absolutely no light must enter the tank! If any, even the smallest amount of light does make it in to the tank, remove the cover, wait a couple of days and start all over again. Also if you inject CO2 into your tank for the live plants, turn it off during this period of darkness. If you do keep live plants, slight browning of leave edges may occur, simply prune this away."
That soloution might hopefully help some people.
