I heard if you use 1/2 of the suggested serving of ich guard or whatever brand of ich treatment with Catfish, Plecos etc....this will not harm them

I do realise that full doses makes them very sick

can 1/2 dose be used?

I use Interpet Anti Whitespot + with loaches, plecs and all sorts at full dose.

What does it say on the packet? I think not dosing fully can lead to 'super bacteria' that become immune to meds that are not in a quanitity to kill them. However, I am not sure about this.

I am sure someone else will help soon enough.

Well my ICH medicine I got yesterday said to use 1/2 dose for scaleless fish, and I had no real clue that meant Corys until I got up this morning to no ICH, but a full complement of really sick Corys... quick Internet search and now I know better .

Crossing fingers on W/C and Carbon to get the meds out before it's too late.
