Today is my third day of treating my tank for Ich. Most of the white spots are off the fish, though there are still a couple. Now my tank has white spots all over the glass. Is this normal, and will the Nox Ich treat it if it is the Ich. Just in case you need this info..

Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Ph. 7.6
Ammonia .25
Temp 82 F

Thanks again

Yes it should. Because once the ich falls off the host (the fish) and then it goes into the gravel and apparently the glass. NOX-ICH first gets the ich off the fish then the ich goes into the gravel and glass then while you still treat it, it kills the ich that is left. And make sure to do vacum cleanings because ich reprduces in gravel an glass.

actually the ich falls off of the fish when it is done "feeding". then it goes to hide some where and multiplies....after this they are vulnerable(and only at this time) to the meds and/or die within 24 hrs i belive if they dont find a host. you are right in that the gravel vacs help remove most of the ich. the reason for the high temps is it makes the life cycle of the ich faster thus making it faster to get rid of. if a mod reads this they might(hopefully) post more info about ich's lifecycle.

The white stuff you see on the glass is probably some sort of algea as opposed to ich. I don't know about anyone else, but I have seen plenty of cases of this white algae, but have never seen a case of ich on the glass. Unfortunately I do not know anything about this algae.

Did you just start this tank up because it seems you have not cycled yet. This is probably the cause of the ich overtaking your fish. If your ammonia is at .25 you deffinitley need to do a water change.
