I suspect one of my gouramis has Ich so I bought some Ich medicine. The bottle recommends I turn off my filter while treating the tank. Is this a good idea?
They want or say to turn off the filter. Dont really think thats a bad idea as long as you still have some aggitation of the water to help the oxygen. But what I usually do is turn the filter to the lowest setting and that is just as good.
