They told me that I have no right to take photo's

They're right on the photos-it's not a public place.
Doesn't make you want to buy though does it? :(

i went to my local 1 today and nearly everytank had dead fish in and the 1 betta that was there had all his tail ripped but didnt have to time to speak to no 1

Its a joke that people see they can't look after fish but yet still buy from there shop.

The one in Hemel Hempstead is really good. Very clean, not seen one dead fish. Then again the aquatics manager is a great guy who is very much in control. It depends on staff I guess.

Hit the nail on there head there.
It very much depends on the experience of the staff and whether or not they have any knowledge of keeping fish. Some P@H stores are very good, others are terrible, unfortunately all the ones I have ever visited have been terrible

whats wrong with a bit of algae? the only thing i can see wrong is the betta and tetras.

now that you have picked fault of this store, turn off your computer and go outside :hyper:

Ditto in Cheltenham. The staff are generally excellent, and have specialists in marines as well as tropicals. The tanks are always spotless, floors clean, and dead fish checked for every hour or two. I did see a few cardinals in a discus tank that had ich once, but when i mentioned it they were a) grateful, and b) on the case with the treatment immediately. They are not the place to go on a Saturday looking to buy a goldfish, simply because they need to keep up turnover of customers, but if you ask questions, even about fishless cycling, you'll always get a comprehensive answer.

I also think that the p@h at cramlington is also generally good and the staff thee are very helpfull generally there has been the odd thing thats not quite right but its just been a case of oversight than negligence and as soon as the problem has been spotted or highlighted its sorted, ill go back there if im near by

My Local Pets at home in Scarborough is very good tank always very clean, although I agree with truck whats the problem with a bit of algae, quite alot of fish eat algae!!! Although I do agree that it is more like a pet supermarket, and who'd pay £129.00 for a house rabbit all rabbits can be house trained!!!
What i don't agree with is that they are selling common plecs, why not bristlenose as they don't grow as big!!! All it takes is daddy I like one of those for my fish tank, Daddy buys it and there you go, I wouldn't mind Pets at home at our branch don't sell a tank big enough to put a full grown one in.
