Always Watching
I drove 40min to two of my favorite fish stores yesterday. I was quite happy I was able to get up there again, cuz there was no way I could make the trip when gas was so expensive. I had a lot of outstanding credit at these stores and a members coupon . I only paid $11 out of pocket. I got 3 pygmy corys since that was all they had. Nine ember tetras, witch are very pretty. I was originally suppose to be 8, but I saw only one was left in the tank. I felt bad for taking all his friends, so I took him too. 7 geturdae rainbows, who are all males. 3 dwarf frogs, who were very skinny. I fed them while they were still in the bag and two chowed down. The other one looks in poor shape and will not eat . Lastly Three rummy nosed tetras to add to my existing school. Some frozen brine shrimp and frozen baby brine shrimp, and a brine shrimp net.
All the fish look fantastic, the rummy tetras are still a little nervous. But all the other fish where begging for food with in the hour of being put in the quarantine tank. All of them look fantastic, two of the fish seem to have a mild case of external parasites. But that should be easy to take care of. I was not planning to bring home so many fish . They are all in a 15gal tank with 40+ endler fry, for their two week quarantine. I got a few pics, but none of them will stop moving . I will add a short video later.
