So I want to upgrade my filters for my aquarium. My current ones have done me fine just figure you know extra is better when it comes to filtration and currently my aquarium filters about 200 gallons per hour... least that's what it says it should be doing. Haven't had any amonia scares or dead fishies but just wanna upgrade and don't know if something is a good brand.

I'm looking for something that is silent and has a soft current cause I have a betta fish in the aquarium who I would prefer to be not thrown around like a rag doll for exploring or patrolling the tank also a few other fish that I'd prefer being allowed to swim where ever they like.

I'm willing to drop at most 60 bucks on a filter.
And need it to be silent cause the aquariums in my room its 20 gallons btw incase that helps in advice. BTW THIS SITE ROCKS D: Ya'll are usually so helpful.

I have no advice, but a point to keep in mind - whatever the stated filtration rate is on the filter will reduce once you add media to it (I.e. sponges, ceramic rings...). They give you the flow rate for an empty filter, which is very misleading to people who don't know better.

Ha wow will make sure to keep that in mind. Thanks so much for letting me know that! Just started fish keeping at the beginning of the year after doing like... months of research never came across that xD Thanks!
