i searched for the randomly on ebay the other day, found them, was really excited

that is what i keep telling my dad.

he's not so sure about them, last week i bought 5 healthy neon tetras and now i only have 1 left

but that is a bit different (neon tetras being £1 each!)

why do they cost so much to buy, are they rare and hard to breed?

the worst thing would be if they got stressed onn the move and stopped breeding

they come from Brazil but imports were banned, and because of their colours and rarity they have become expensive


i know of a few people who bred them in this country, so i don't think it's too hard..

they are "over 1 inch" in size, at one year old! thats insane slow growth rate!
