Fed up now.

please ignore the flash, but this is what my blue sheer fabric looks like in my 46g. I even leave a little ripple to it on purpose. :fun:

Thank you SOOOOOOO much guys ! OH sprayed a big sheet of card black and slid it behind the tank.

The difference is just unbelivable... looks wonderful (to me anyway !)

Sorry I still cant get the pics up properley... It keeps coming up that theis image is not allowed on these boards, or something. If anyone can put them up properly for me that would be very kind !

Anyway, I am now VERY pleased with the black background .... NO MORE BUBBLES, and I think the fish stand out beautifully.
Such a simple idea, yet so effective. I think it was Fluttermoths idea, so cheers matey ! :good:

Plain backgrounds look a lot classier I think. Definitely an improvement on the bubbles anyway. Good job.

Black card sounds like a good idea, I did not want mine to be permanent, so I went to a sign shop and got a piece of adhesive black vinyl that I applied to the back of my tank. Looks good and I can always peel it away if need be.
