Hi fatbobsufc
Unless you have some fairly large snails that lay their eggs underwater, you can be fairly sure they were cory eggs. I made the same mistake the first time I saw them.

Corys seem to deal with temperature drop much better than the other fish who are apt to come down with a case of ich as a result.
I strongly recommend that you set up a separate breeding tank for them.
This will give you a safe place to hatch the eggs and also for the fry to grow up. You will not be able to raise them in a community tank because either the eggs or the fry will be eaten.
Moving the eggs can be done, but they are fragile and you will lose some in the process. And since you will need to get a grow out tank for them at some point, it makes sense to spawn your corys in it and raise the fry there too. Please look at the link that I gave you earlier for info about how to set it up.
Once you have the necessary equipment you can easily move some of the gravel from your main tank and take some filter media from your big filter and put it into a box filter and presto, you've got a tank that's cycled well enough for a handful of corys.
If you do not have enough gravel in there, just add some extra, mix it in, and in a week or so the beneficial bacteria will have covered it and it can be moved to the breeding tank. The same goes with the filter; you can add filter floss to it, or hang a wad of it inside a nylon stocking for a while near your filter. If you have leafy plants, they are covered with bacteria too and can be potted and put into the breeding tank until they spawn. Just pot them up under water to preserve the bacteria.
Once your corys are moved in, start feeding them a diet heavy in blackworms or other live or frozen food. Blackworms or tubifex worms are excellent to condition them and make the females get full of eggs.
After a week or so, just do a thorough vacuuming with a big water change, perhaps 50% or more, and unplug the heater. Let the temperature gradually fall over night and in the morning plug it back in. They will often spawn within the next few days. If they don't you can try more drastic measures, but the bronze are usually easy to get to spawn. This is all I ever need to do with my bronze and albinos.
