its head.

I've had it only two weeks.

I've spoken to the shop, who would like to see it, but would going to a vet be a better choice?

No take it back to the shop if there offering you the service, as they can replace it for you, the vet can charge you large bills!!

pauls right take it back to the shop ,the problem with vets is finding one who deals with aquatics ,its mostly a visual thing as you cant exactly perform internal tests on fish without killing them as for ulcers the best a vet could do would be to take a sample and send it off which would cost you a packet

Betta Lova: There are vets that specialise in aquatic mammals. However, finding one poses quite a challenge! If you have a problem with fish, try ringing up the vet, that way you don't have to go in, and they can't charge you for their advice ;)
