I think my Male Betta may have a problem?

I looked at Shen today and it looks like the bottom of his tail has been bleached, it just looks like the colour out the bottom of his tail has turned black. would it do this if the tail had grown or could this be a finnage problem. Im really confused about this. could anyone help me please?

Sounds like he may have a case of fin rot. Search the back posts for some really good advice i know that this is a topic that fruquently pops up . Besically you will have to get a medication for him that kills fungus keep his water super clean and add some aquarium salt. Good luck. Black on the tips of fins is generally never a normal thing unless in the rare case it is coloring, usually new fin growth is clear not black.
