Umm yes over £300 on fish alone.
Not counting the new filters I bought, food, plants - or the 3 tanks I bought in the past couple months...
I've just told my hubby that it's an early combined anniversary/birthday/christmas pressie

Rezatii - no more tanks for a long time yet. As above I bought 3 just recently.
1 is my new community tank, the double hex for the girls and there was also another 72Gal that will end up being the sump for our marine tank, oh make that 4 as there was also the small tank that the 3 boys are currently in until they go into the 33Gal and their tank will then become a hospital/QT.

LM - Yep, I'm climbing the walls LOL
I want them like NOW. Gutted because the last shipment went on the 17th of this month, so I only just missed it.
*sigh*
Oh well, like has been said I can spend the time on faffing about planting it up for the boys.

I take it as a sign of serendipity though that the person I bought the mesh for dividers from sent me 1.5 times what I had ordered - which meant I was able to add that extra divider to the tank. Also the chap I bought some coconut caves from sent me 2 extra

MewMew - yep, the extra shipping from Germany to UK makes for expensive fish - I consoled myself by saying that on average the cost per fish is less because 2 of them are sending me a female sibling to the male as well...

LOL I hope he lets you off I seem to have gone a bit fish mad lately...hubby is being very understanding, but I reckon some of that is he's scared of the pregnancy hormones!

To be fair, I have a very expensive fish in my QT at the moment, in that it;s the sole survivor of my cats/angelfish, and therefore is worth £35 just on its own . Which is ironic seens as it's the one I got thrown in for free because it was smaller than the others!

eep well its good deal then =] i felt bad for ordering them in at work and having to spend like £45 on 3 males and 2 females! [ill be doing it again soon though hehehehe]

I hopefully *fingers crossed* will be getting a marble HMPK in that lot I just hope he is as nice as yours! =]

I havent had any betta's since my pepe passed away a couple of months back, but my LFS had some beautiful pale lavender & peach HMs in at the weekend, if they have any left at the weekend I will be bringing one home.

Originally I had no plans to breed, but I'm looking at what I've got/will have and I'm tempted to think about it next year.

Boys (all named after wrestlers - in a round about way)
Kofi - probably not for he is just a simple VT - but a very pretty pineapple VT at that
Diesel - a lovely black/blue marble dragon (I'm sure I was told by his breeder that he was a HM but he's most defintely a DT) - he's a maybe
Nero - a blue with red wash HMPK - he's a probably
The 3 above will be Imagi, Charisma and Enigma

Girls (all named when I was feeling daft)
Pinky - cute cambodian but very pink with a purple metallic wash, probably a VT and probably a no for breeding.
Dinky - powder blue with a slight red wash, again probably a VT and a no.
Wizzy - another cambodian but more of a peachy pink, also probably a VT and a no.
Fizzy - a cellophane with the butterfly gene, so although she's probably a VT she's a maybe.
Pixie - a blue with red wash HMPK (Nero's sister) a definite maybe.
Dixie - a pale blue HMPK (Nero's sister) another definite maybe.
Lily and Lolly - the 2 coming soon will depend on what their fins look like if good HM then probably.

I'd like to see the spawn between #2 above and Fizzy.

If it's pink, fluffy, glittery or sparkly I probably love it - odd because I was not a girly girl as a child, wore mostly black as a teen (including hair and lipstick!), changed to "earth" colours by my mid twenties and by the time I got to 30 I was in love with all things pink and girly LOL

These new guys n' gals will be arriving in Germany on November 15th.
So, all being well they will be sent out to me on 16th on an overnight shipment.
Ooooh exciting now - just don't tell my hubby what the shipping cost in the end!
