if its a common plec they can grow to 18 inches i know this as ive had several at 17 and can become agressive and they only eat algea when small

see if it is a common one and sorry but they will not grow to the size of your tank

Wow, that will be one hell of a big tank, I'm wanting to get a 120 gallon soon as I have a 2 bala sharks in my tank and whilst they are only 5" and 3" at the min they will eventually outgrow my tank.

I'm guessing you mean your girlfriend wants a bala shark, one of these: Bala Shark

yeah, bala shark, she fell in love with them! oh lord she been praising to them, ha le lu ya!

and yeah i will get some picture up one i find someone that sells it, my uncle got 2 tank, 1 of them is like 200 gallon(started up) and other one 150 gallon( didnt started up yet)
