I was wondering the same about my tank, i thought it was odd i had no algae. i'll stop worrying now, lol!

i didn`t have any algae for about 6 months after i set my tank up but it came eventually

hello i cant get rid of the stuff

because my room is constantly light the algae grows quicker than the fish lol.

so i ended up getting an albino catfish to eat the algae.
