Beautiful female  . I just wanted to add that my female betta did perfectly fine in my tetra community(10 tetras all together). They didn't bother her, she didn't bother them but then again bettas have such a variety of personalities. I know my girl is very docile which why i might not put her in with any more females. She's a perfect community girl all be herself. :)

I was at biglots and picked up some 99 cent storage bings, clear, for my temporary bettas I am getting... And I realize they are just about perfect for bettas! Low gallons, but they are REALLY long and wide, and pretty shallow. I'd imagine I can get a female community in one of the 5 dollar bins, I'd imagine they are about 10 gallons... But half the hight and twice the length/width ^_^ Whaddaya think? I'm getting some cash on Thursday from babysitting, that might be enough to pick up the 3 or 4 remaining girls!

I'm in NW Ohio, right at the Michigan border. No clue how to ship fish, but I would figure it out if someone was willing to reemberce me for ALL costs ^_^ Wouldn't sell MY girl, but I might not mind picking up the other girls, and finding them good homes. Such beautiful fish shouldn't be stuck in a cup eating goldfish food and swimming in ammonia

I decided for space reasons, I was going to go ahread and see if she would be ok in my 20 gallon communiy with 7 bloodfin tetras and 2 Dojo loaches... And I thought I'd tell you, so far so good ^^ She has been cruising around poking at thigns with her nose. She's swum right through the bloodfin shoal a few times, but seems to have NO interest in them whatsover. The bloodfins have snuck up on her a few times to investigate, but when she turns around they dart off

They only potential problem I see is the Dojo loaches. They send to swim VERY fast and play tag, which is adorable, but little girl (who's name is "Kaczy" (Kaz-zy) by the way) Seems very scared of them. When they dart by her, she often gets bumped because she hasn't learned to stay clear of the Romping Dojos yet. I'm worried about them stressing her out too much. I'll be keeping a VERY close eye on her the next few days, and remove her if I see a problem. But it is just so cute to see a tiny, tiny fish swimming around a big ol' tank with no fish smaller then her ^^
