I need more lighting

My DIY canopy was going to feature T5s, but they aren't avaliable where I live. So, I'm just going to cram a wooden box full of T8s and hope for the best.

Also, I found a shop that sells 3 foot fixtures, so I returned the 2 footer, and upgraded to the 3. The bulbs are now 30 a peice, so I have a whopping 60 watts! I think that gives me 1.75 WPG now. Huzzah!

But then you ae talking to someone with over 1600 watts on their tank..

how much does that cost you every 6 months? it costs me $100 to replace 4 PC bulbs.....

I wanted to, but I dont have a rona around me. That was the only site I could find that had one, so I posted that link. Believe me, I would has so rathered to spend a little less on the fixture, but it only cost me 29 plus tax, and the bulbs were 7 or so its not that bad.

So is the K rating 6500? You have around 1.4 wpg now right? How are your plants doing? If you made the hood yourself, would you care to share any plans?
